1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the KrewBase website and the services we provide. By using the site or asking us to arrange accommodation you accept them. Individual bookings are also governed by the booking confirmation we issue, which takes precedence if the two conflict.

2. Who we are and what we do

KrewBase sources and arranges accommodation for organisations placing staff away from home. We contract with property hosts and make that accommodation available to you. We are not a letting agent acting for you, and we are not a hotel operator.

3. Requirements and quotations

Posting a requirement places you under no obligation. Any shortlist or rate we provide is an offer to supply on the terms stated, and remains open only for the period stated on it. Availability can change until a booking is confirmed in writing.

4. Bookings

A booking is only confirmed when we issue a written booking confirmation. That confirmation sets out the property, the dates, the occupancy, what is included, the rate and the cancellation terms that apply to that stay.

5. Occupancy and use

Occupancy must not exceed the number stated on the confirmation. Properties are provided for accommodation of your staff or contractors only. Guests must not sublet, hold events, or use the property for any unlawful purpose, and must comply with the house rules provided in the arrival pack.

6. Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate information about headcount, dates and requirements.
• Make sure your staff are briefed on the arrival pack and house rules.
• Report damage or maintenance issues to us promptly.
• Ensure your staff treat the property and neighbours with reasonable care and consideration.

7. Charges and payment

Charges are as stated on the booking confirmation. Where a credit account has been approved, invoices are issued monthly and payable within 30 days of the invoice date unless agreed otherwise in writing. Where no account is in place, payment is due before arrival. We may charge interest on overdue sums in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

8. Changes and cancellation

Extensions, reductions and changes are handled case by case and confirmed in writing. Cancellation terms are stated on each booking confirmation and vary with duration and notice period. If we ever have to move a booking for reasons outside our control, we will offer comparable accommodation or a full refund of amounts paid for the affected nights.

9. Damage

You remain responsible for damage caused by your staff or contractors beyond fair wear and tear. We will provide evidence of any damage claim and give you a reasonable opportunity to respond before charging.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability in connection with a booking is limited to the charges paid for that booking, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, contract or project delay costs.

11. Website use

Property listings and availability shown on this site are indicative and do not constitute an offer. Content on the site is owned by KrewBase or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you are established in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
