The questions we get every week

If yours is not here, ring us. We would rather answer it properly than have you guess.

Booking & requirements

Post a requirement or ring us. Rates depend on location, dates, headcount and how long the job runs, so we quote against your actual requirement rather than publishing a number that turns out to be wrong for you. Quotes are all-inclusive and there is no separate booking fee added later.

A shortlist normally comes back within two working hours. In our hub cities we can often confirm and have keys ready the same day. For remote locations or very large crews, allow 24 hours.

Yes, and we do it regularly. Bespoke sourcing is a large part of what we do, especially around power stations, rail depots and infrastructure projects where there is very little existing stock. Give us the site postcode and the dates and we will go and find it.

Yes. Monday to Friday is how a large share of our stays run, because people go home at weekends. You are not charged for nights the crew is not there, and the property stays held for the following week.

Yes. Most jobs outlast their first booking, so we set stays up to roll and review them against your programme rather than making you rebook every few weeks.

Yes — multiple properties in one location, one property in several locations, or any mix. It all runs through one contact here and lands on one invoice.

Tell us and we adjust. Because we hold stock rather than broker it, we can usually extend in place instead of moving everyone mid-job. Adding people, dropping people or demobilising early all work the same way.

Cancellation terms are set out on the booking confirmation before you commit, and they vary with how long the stay is and how close to arrival you are. We will always tell you the terms up front rather than burying them.

Accounts & invoicing

Yes. We offer Net-30 accounts to limited companies, subject to a standard credit check. Account setup is free and usually takes about a day.

One consolidated invoice a month, covering every property and every site. We carry your cost codes and project references onto the invoice lines so it can be allocated without anyone having to reconstruct it.

No separate fee. The rate we quote is the rate invoiced. If something genuinely extra is added during a stay — an additional clean, say — it is agreed with you first and shown as its own line.

You can still book — payment is taken up front instead. Newer companies often start that way and move onto an account once there is some trading history.

The properties

On most properties, yes, and it is one of the things we filter on before shortlisting. Tell us the vehicles and whether tools need to be off the street overnight, and we will only send options that work.

As standard: bills, broadband, a fully equipped kitchen, linen and towels. Housekeeping frequency varies by property type and is stated on every shortlist so you can compare like for like.

Wherever the numbers allow, yes — it is usually better for the crew and cheaper for you. Larger teams may be split across two or three properties, and when that happens we keep them close together.

Only if you ask us to. Our default is one person per bedroom, and for healthcare placements single occupancy is standard and not negotiable.

We do. Your team contacts us, not the landlord. Maintenance callouts, access issues and anything that goes wrong at an awkward hour come to us to resolve.

Yes, of the actual property and taken recently. If a listing image is representative rather than the exact unit, we will say so on the shortlist rather than let you find out on arrival.

Terminology

Per person, per night. It is the usual way accommodation gets budgeted for a crew, because it stays comparable whether four people or fourteen are travelling. We can quote per person, per property or for the total stay — whichever your budget is built in.

Serviced accommodation is professionally managed with housekeeping built in, typically apartments. Contractor accommodation is usually a whole house set up for a working crew — more beds, more parking, drying space, and less concierge. Both are self-contained.
